Production safety is fundamental to CMOC. In recent years, aiming to realize integrated operation, CMOC has been continuously optimizing its management system, striving to identify potential risks, improving accountability, carrying out more strict performance evaluations, and promoting lean management for  production safety. After winning a provincial honor for outstanding performance in 2017, CMOC, with zero deaths and serious injuries in 2018, was rated as Outstanding Institution in Production Safety by the Henan Provincial Government.
