According to Argus Media, a provider of price information, Brazil's imported fertilizer accounted for more than 80% of consumption. In 2023, with the continued degradation of the impact of the regional conflict, Russia’s exports of fertilizer to Brazil largely resumed, and enterprises in the main production areas of phosphate fertilizer in Morocco, Western Sahara, and the Middle East are expanding production as planned. While the strengthening of China’s environmental protection policies and the upgrading of the domestic phosphorus chemical industry continue to limit the expansion of production capacity and output.
