Whistleblowing Policy

Purpose:

CMOC is committed to continuously improving its corporate governance and implementing sustainable practices in line with business standards to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the company itself, its employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. In response to behaviors that undermine corporate culture, violate industry norms, and company policies, as well as risk events that have negative impacts on the rights and interests of stakeholders, the company's reputation, operation health and safety, the company provides a complaint and whistleblowing mechanism to promptly identify, investigate, and correct improper behaviors, take remedial measures, and offer assistance to those affected. The company takes measures to ensure that whistleblowers will not be retaliated against or persecuted for their complaints and whistleblowing.

Scope:

All kinds of violations or risky behaviors related to corporate governance, financial, compliance, internal control and business ethics, This includes but not limited to the fabrication of production and operation data, financial fraud, false or tampered information disclosure, misappropriation of funds, abuse of power, deficiencies in internal control processes, false procurement, violations/unfairness in bidding and tendering procedures, deviations in contract performance, unlawful related-party transactions, conflicts of interest, insider trading, leakage of trade secrets, violation of industry norms, workplace discrimination/harassment, etc.

Confidentiality:

The company encourages real-name complaints and whistleblowing. If the whistleblower makes an anonymous report or wishes to remain anonymous, the company will strictly keep the personal information such as the name, identity and contact details of the whistleblowers confidential. The company also requires the investigated unit and people being reported not to trace the identity information of the whistleblower or retaliate against the whistleblower.

Feedback:

Within one week after receiving a complaint or report, we will notify the whistleblower about the receipt of the complaints or whistleblowing (by email or phone). Regular notifications regarding the status of complaints or whistleblowing will be provided to the whistleblower, with an interval of no more than 60 days between each notification. Notifications will still be issued even if there is no progress.
