During the reporting period, the Company registered a revenue of RMB46.006 billion; net profit attributable to the parent company of RMB3.946 billion, up 90.47% YoY; net profit attributable to parent company of RMB3.928 billion after deducting non-recurring profits and losses, up 87.82% YoY; EPS of RMB0.18, up 80% YoY.


 

  • Business highlights

Copper production reached a record high. In Q1, the company achieved copper production of 170,574 tonnes, up 15.65% YoY, setting a record high for the same period; and cobalt production of 30,414 tonnes, up 20.68% YoY. Molybdenum production was 3,341 tonnes, down 3.83% YoY; tungsten production was 1,993 tonnes, up 3.73%YoY. Niobium production hit a quarterly record of 2,616 tonnes, up 4.40% YoY; phosphate fertilizer production reached 279,453 tonnes, up 0.24% YoY.

 Gold is added to the portfolio. The company announced the proposed acquisition of all shares of Lumina Gold Corp. for C$581 million. As a key asset of the target, Cangrejos is a major primary gold deposit in Ecuador with average gold resources grade of 0.46 g/t, containing 638 tonnes of gold metal, and average gold reserves grade of 0.55 g/t, containing 359 tonnes of gold metal.
