In the afternoon of July 6th local time, Mr. Sun Ruiwen, CEO of CMOC, and Mr. Li Chaochun, Chief Investment Officer of CMOC, were received by his Excellency Mr. Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge, the Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo (the “DRC”), at the Prime Minister's Office.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed about the fair and just resolution to the mining royalty payment issues of TFM and exchanged views on on the acceleration of cooperation in developing the battery value chain. The Prime Minister stressed that the DRC government is committed to building a sound and stable business environment and protecting investors’ interests.
