In order to effectively enhance the prevention and containment of the novel coronavirus, better protect employees health and safety, CMOC has established a steering team for epidemic prevention and control and taken immediate actions, such as convening multiple emergency meetings, sending information and emergency notices on epidemic situation, and taking thorough work arrangements.

Starting from the 26th January, overseas operations and offices of the Group have suspended all travels to and from China for business, home visit, vacation and leisure purposes, in order to prevent the virus spread.

The steering team on virus prevention and control is led by Mr. Steele Li, the Chairman of CMOC. All operations shall develop prevention and control plan, clarify responsibilities and implement detailed measures; all operations shall enhance communications and coordination with the Group Headquarters; they shall formulate emergency plans and manage any emergency in a proactive manner with a view to protect employees whilst maintain production.
